This tour was a highlight for us! Karlson was a great guide who expertly ordered dishes in 3 different locations so we could get a real taste of Malay, Indian and Chinese cuisine. There was more than enough food, and it was all delicious! The night was such a great way to get familiar with different areas of Kuala Lumpur, which was a nice bonus. We also stopped to try some sweets along the way which were also great. Would highly recommend!
We were a group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 teenagers and had a great night out with Karlson. One member of our group had a number of allergies and Karlson was extremely careful and checked and planned all the locations prior to the tour commencing. We tried a number of different foods that we wouldn't have tried if we were travelling without a guide and were extremely full by the end of the tour. Karlson even took us for a spot of sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this tour company and if you get Karlson as your guide you will have a fantastic night out.
Karlson was an amazing host and we tasted some of the tastiest Hokkien noodles and Indian rotis. We loved the hospitality, great tour guide skills and getting the local experience of taking a peak into Malay foods.
Our time during the tour was the most memorable part of our trip to Malaysia! We truely did experience George Town like a local, and sampled so many delicious dishes that we would not have had the opportunity to try without our knowledgeable guide, Kevin. The food was incredible and varied. We also enjoyed sight seeing - a great way to spend a fun filled evening!
Nice guy but clueless and disorganized. Don’t waste your time Arrived 15 minutes late. Meeting point 30 minutes outside KL at deserted bus station. Indian stop not Brickfield as stated (centrally located and 5 minute drive from Petaling St) but near bus station. 30 minute drive back to Petaling st. Saw nothing of Brickfield Parks 3 blocks away. Walk down dark dirty alley to crowded copycat market single file to mediocre restaurant so no commentary from Carlson. Same route back to van so saw nothing different. Drive to Kampang Baru. Too dark to see the original wooden houses Walking on dark street past garbage and closed stalls since so late. Wanted us to walk back to van “ too much traffic”. Deserted street. We asked to bring van back which he did. Could have been so much more interesting tour. And an hour shorter due to wasted time driving time and repetitive walking on same route We have higher hopes for Singapore tour
