Day 1: Sani Pass/Lesotho Cultural Village/Roof of Africa/Rock Art/Moteng Pass/
Stop At: Sani Pass, Sani Pass, KwaZulu-Natal
Day 1
Traverse the breath taking Sani Pass stopping frequently for photo opportunities.
After crossing the Lesotho border, spend time at a remote village watching a traditional healer, secret dancing rituals and interacting with the community. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch and drive across the spectacular views on the Roof of Africa passing small traditional villages and panoramic mountain vistas. This country has the highest lowest point in the world. Only 20% of the population live in these remote Highlands.
Pass the Let’seng Diamond Mine at which some of the clearest and largest diamonds in the world have been found.
Visit Liphofung Bushman Paintings and enjoy a packed lunch overlooking the caves.
Drive down the corkscrew Moteng Pass toward the lush Lesotho Lowlands.
See 200 million year old Dinosaurs Footprints.
Drive through to Hlotse where you will enjoy Dinner Bed and Breakfast at one of the most beautiful and quaint guesthouses in Lesotho.

Day 2: Cannibal Caves Dinosaur Footprints,and the Highest Solo Waterfall in Africa
Stop At: Ha Kome Cave Houses, Teyateyaneng Lesotho
Day 2.
After Breakfast drive through to the mystical alleged cannibal caves and then go to the place of kings Thaba Bosiu and see the place where the traditional hat's design originated. We go on an incredible 4x4 ride to see amazing dinosaur's footprints.
Should you still have room for more to eat, taste a “Shisa Nyama” from a respected street vendor.
Tour through small farms in fertile green lands.
Take a quick refreshment stop at the old Ramabanta Trading Post which is now a beautiful oasis boasting well kept English gardens.
Drive through to Semongkong " The Place of Smoke."
After checking in at the lodge on the outskirts of this bustling donkey and horse trading town—like no other you will have seen—meet your local guide for a town tour and lunch.
Experience an amazing blanket presentation given in a local hut with amusing and descriptive explanations of the significance of the different blankets which are the national dress of Lesotho and enactment of the local culture.
Should you have any strength or time left you can go on an optional donkey 'Shabeen' ride later in the afternoon.
Enjoy dinner and bed in this one of a kind lodge as horses, pack donkeys and cows wondering through the village with bells ringing and shepherds ushering them home.

Day 3: Maletsunyana Falls and Semonkong Pass
Stop At: Maletsunyane Falls Semonkong, Semonkong Lesotho
Day 3
Wake early to enjoy a wholesome breakfast.
Hike or choose an easier walk to the famous Maletsunyana Falls, home to the highest commercial abseil in the world. Whilst tourists come from all over the world to see these falls the area is still quiet and remote with little indication of development.
Water crashes into the pool below the falls and it is known as the ‘Place of Smoke”.
On return to Semongkong load up to drive through the steepest pass with views that almost surpass everything but the Sani Pass.
Shepherds on horses and small picturesque villages pepper the remote landscape as we drive towards the Highlands again.
Arrive at the border control at Qacha’s Nek. Enjoy a picnic meal overlooking the vast South African Swartberg region.
Return to Underberg by the late afternoon or continue your journey to Durban.
