Easy to find location. Across the street from Kyoto station. Staff was friendly, there was a slight limitations on the kimono selection but maybe our booking was 11am so likely a lot were taken. Overall I was happy with my montsuki. My wife and daughter who is 9 loved their kimonos. They did a great job on the hair for both of them. The pictures they took of us in shop was a great touch. Highly recommend
Very nice lady! We got to pick what kind of kimonos to wear; my friends are 6’2 and there were sizes for him as well, surprising for a Japanese place. Had 3 hours to roam around Kiyomizu-dera in the kimono. Had a great time.
1. the place is close to the kyoto station. 2. the rent is quite cheap, the basic set is affordable. 3. and the stuff are friendly to the tourists especially don't know about kimono. so, this must be the first one you must chose.☺️❤
