The GBU review of X-Country Dance Review The Good: The dancers are very beautiful, energetic, and genuinely seem to enjoy their time on stage, which I have seen some dancers who do not. The dancers used all of the stage and props, leaving nothing behind. Their interaction with the crowd was good and they choreographed with each other well. The hype-man / comedian was good for the type of show and audience. The amount of energy they put into some of their dances was purely electrifying yet the handled it with grace and poise. Michael and the organizers went above and beyond to accommodate what was a total cluster F (not related to the show, explained below). Keep in mind, this is a dance review and not a traditional "Vegas Show" like you'd see on TV. We went to 2 shows this week and really enjoyed this one a lot. The Bad: There really isn't much to say here except the venue isn't setup that well for viewership. All seats in the VIP area are at the same level so if you're not in the front row, you have to look around people to see all of the show. The general admission section seems kind of oddly laid out to view the girls on stage. I wish the stage had been a little bigger or elevated some to make it easier to see all of the effort the girls put into their dances. As for the production in general, my only comment here would be the sound quality wasn't great. One speaker was turned up too high on treble or something so it sounded a touch off, they could stand to update their sound system rather than just turning it up louder. The Ugly: The only part of the entire event I would list here is $30 per drink. My wife and I each ordered a drink and by the time we paid the tip it was over $70. This should be illegal. The rest of this is NOT a reflection of the show itself but a forewarning of how the ticket purchase went. The only way to get tickets is through Ticketmaster or some other 3rd party. Well, Ticketmaster wasn't working so I booked our seats through the kiosk at our hotel which uses some third party called Plan A Day. First, it said the VIP tickets were sold out and only had general admission, so I bought those. Then, of course Ticketmaster was supposed to get the tickets to me, but as I said, it wasn't working. By the time it was all said and done, I had invested over an hour in phone calls to Ticketmaster and Harrah's trying to secure tickets. When I got to the box office at Harrah's to get my tickets, I inquired about VIP seats and she informed me that they still had plenty, but since my ticket went through Plan A Day, they couldn't be upgraded. I explained everything to the organizers and they seated us in a VIP seat and I can't express how nice it was to have someone actually give a crap about it all. Overview: We loved the show, the girls are amazing and really did a great job. It's not the same production level that some Vegas shows are at, but it felt more raw and down to earth which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely go again. If you go, be aware of the ridiculous prices on drinks. Sit back and enjoy.

Not to Vegas Power, below standard, reminds me more of a high school auditorium except the girls take their tops off! Fast pace for sure! hard to see from various angles unless you’re sitting right in front of the stage. A lot of of the activity takes place on the floor of the stage, the girls have their dance moves down but lack maturity. It’s like watching your daughters high school team take their tops off at cheerleading practice not really interesting unless you’re into that kind of Purvey stuff. stage backdrop was less than Las Vegas style. The whole thing needs a makeover. Not worth the price of the ticket!

Poor choreography, the girls not so glamorous, music deafening loud but of not so great choice and some acts quite sleazy… It’s in Harrah’s and absolutely not worth it. Severely overpriced, as most Vegas shows of lately. If you’ve had too much to drink by the hour of the show (10PM) and want some bottled water, it will set you back $8+ tax. **

X Country Topless Revue. This was a great cast: Jolae, Shelby, Olivia & Amanda. Fun and enjoyable. Wish it was still this fun.

The show would have been great if only the dancers knew that the audience is larger than the people sitting only in front of them! I had bought VIP tickets on the first row but the chairs were a bit to the side of the stage. For the entire duration of the show we (all audience aside from the middle of the stage) never got even a glimpse from the dancers. Even if they would be moving in our direction, their heads were still turned to the middle of the room - like their necks would break if they looked to any other part of the audience. Only 30% of all viewers got to feel the show and the rest of us were allowed to sit there but we were completely ignored. I don't know what sort of choreographer does not know that a show should be for all, but he has done terrible job in this regard! Come on! FIX IT! Nonetheless, we were supposed to stay in line in front of the door for over 25 minutes. This was ridiculous as we could not maintain social distance but got angry and tired. I DO NOT recommend this show unless you have bought tickets that place right in the middle of the room.
