The coach is not what I would call "luxury." The seats were cramped and crowded. I was told there would be multiple coaches returning and we could return at will, but when we got there we were told we had to come back on the same bus at a very specific time. We did not plan to stay for 4 hours so found alternative transport back to London. We loved the tour part itself but I would not use this transport option again.
I missed the day. It's my fault and my Kids are really sad. Nothing more to say. A reminder could have been à good option, but La Vacanza Travel is not to blame.
We really enjoyed this tour. We started with afternoon tea (gluten free options were plentiful!) and then began the tour. I didn’t expect it would take as long as it did, but even without listening to the guide we spent 3 hours. I didn’t find the digital guide very useful. Interesting but a lot of it was information I’d already learned from things like extra contents on the movies. It is self-paced once you’re through the great hall but it’s also very busy, so you tend to wait to read the signs and whatnot. I found the faceless mannequins a little creepy - like Doctor Who monsters. We took an Uber there and back (from Kensington) which significantly cut down on the travel time but cost about £70 each way. No trouble finding cars after the tour as they tend to hover for a bit after dropping someone off.
was a little confused when batman showed up as I can't quite recall him in the movies but never the less it was a fantastic experience especially when draco malfoy backed me into a corner and started whispering fan fiction quotes in my ear pretty cool and never seen before. would love to visit again with my kiddie winckles morris and izzie
5 star for the whole experience. But I feel the time is less. We had selected 12.15pm. Got on the coach at 12. Reached the studio at 1.45pm. Entered the studio at 2pm. So just had 4 hours to roam, which includes eating your lunch and must try butter beer. Make sure you get one extra drink. Also you get to keep the mug. We were disappointed cause the tour is large, and to cover everything you need atleast 5-6 hours. And with our tight schedule of bus leaving at 6pm we had to rush. A tip - you will find souvenirs everywhere through the tour so if you like something buy it, it may not be in the final store at the end which is big. Also make sure to have atleast 1 hour or more for the final store. If you intend to buy. There is Que that takes about 30 mins or so. So manage time well.
