Got to see everything on my list of LA while tasting great food from local eateries I’d go back to. I wanted to be with a group because I was traveling alone & had a wonderful group. Alaina was a joy & explained history & architecture of the area. Fantastic

Very entertaining and Alaina was lovely and knowledgeable. Consider skipping the Central Market. Yes, it’s an institution, but it’s so dirty and run down. That is the one area we didn’t enjoy. Everything else was great and we were lucky having such a great bunch of people in the group. Thank you

Walking through the Biltmore and hearing about the old Hollywood glam made the experience for me. The food picks pleased the whole family at one point or another and we were more than satisfied!

The tour met at the base of the Angel Flight funicular which is easy to find and easy to get to on the Metro. The tour was run by Sally from the Valley who certainty has plenty of energy. Our first stop was the LA Central Market where we had papusa then a Thai dish, of sticky rice and chicken. They were just tastings but very nice. Then went on to an Italian place called Maccheroni Republic. We had three pastas and the pasta osso bucco with spinach was awesome. Also one of the other pastas with a cream sauce was great. We then walked around the downtown area looking at the sights including the Last Bookstore. We then had tacos at Guisado’s, part of a chain. Our final stop was Donut Friend which makes vegan donuts. The tour costs more than other tours but you get a meal and sightseeing, so well worth it.
