While we are happy we went on the tour, there were a few things that need mentioning. 1. The advertised all day parking lot was closed. We ended up paying double and scrambled to find a spot when we got there. 2. The word "luxury" for the luxury bus is grossly overstated. It was very basic. Open-air. Watch the weather forecast. We froze (and we are from Canada, lol) 3. The pick up area is very sketchy. Sadly, many homeless folks on the street and on the bench on front of office too. It was borderline scary. Witnessed a street fight and was approached by a woman responding to an SOS for child trafficking while we were waiting for the bus. 3. Office where we were supposed to show our receipts was closed. 4. Observatory is closed on Mondays. (We went on a Monday of course.) Even though it was not as great as we had hoped, we are still glad we took the tour. Hollywood is greatly overrated. Human excrement on one of the stars of the Walk of fame, just general dirtyness and sad homelessness situation was an eye opener. The tour guide showed us where River Phoenix OD'd, as well as where Whitney Houston died and Biggy (?) a rapper was gunned down. Not the type of environment we expected. No celebrity homes on this tour either. Highlights: Santa Monica Pier, celebrity handprints at Chinese Theatre, Elvis's car in LA LA LAND souvenir shop. My husband didn't like the way the bus drove so fast with little opportunity for photos.

Alana was a great tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, encouraging and professional. The went by fast and we saw and learned a lit abt the LA area. I would recommend the tour and especially Alana to anyone visiting LA.

Jeff was friendly and has good jokes. I felt safe on this tour bus as Jeff was a very good driver. Jeff had lots of info about LA I did not know.

We went with Alana and she was really fun. We had enough time for each stop and she didn’t rush us. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting LA

Me and my sister went on this tour and I have to say it was very fun. Alana kept it upbeat and gave a lot of information. I would 10 out of 10 and recommend and this is a group good group.
