Visit the summit of Mt Titlis on an afternoon tour from Lucerne, where spectacular mountain vistas and a range of snow-themed attractions await. After arriving in Engelberg, ride on the aerial cableway to the summit of Mt Titlis for roughly two hours of free time. Entry to acclaimed glacier attractions such as the rotating Titlis Rotair gondola, Titlis Glacier Park, Ice Flyer chairlift, Glacier Cave and Cliff Walk — Europe’s highest suspension bridge — are all included (weather permitting).

Pass By: Lucerne, Lucerne

Board your coach in central Lucerne (Frankenstrasse 2-4) , and travel south to Engelberg, a glorious alpine village tucked in the shadows of Mt Titlis.

Stop At: Titlis Bergbahnen, Gerschnistrasse 12, Engelberg 6390 Switzerland

Upon arrival, hop aboard the aerial cableway with your guide, and then ride to the glacier’s summit — some 10,000 feet (3,020 meters) above sea level. Take a ride with the revolving cable car "Rotair" and enjoy the spectacular sights of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders.

Stop At: Titlis Cliff Walk, Along the Cliff of Mount Titlis, Engelberg 6390 Switzerland

Visit the Glacier Cave and pass over Europe's highest suspension bridge - the Cliff Walk! Take a ride with the Ice Flyer which brings you close to the crevasses and the Glacier Park where you can experience snow tubing even in summer! Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from the restaurants or the sun terrace.

Wonderful half-day trip whilst staying in Lucerne. Pick-up point was very easy to find, and our excellent guide, Minu, was very helpful when onboarding the coach by giving us a map of the Titlus park & emergency contact numbers. The drive from Lucerne is very scenic; Minu would give commentary along the way RE local sights Lake Lucerne, the surrounding mountains Pilatus and Titlis, and some information about the rural areas that we drove past. Instructions were very clear RE onboarding the cable car and Rotair cars to the summit of Titlus; the views were breathtaking. Once at the summit, we headed to floor 5 for the ice-flyer and suspension bridge before taking a few photos in the snow. We also viewed the glacier cave, unfortunately the tunnel was closed. We visited the ice cream and souvenir shop which had lots of choice and great for last-minute keyring and fridge-magnet gifts. Before boarding the bus, we took a short walk down the nearby stream to take in more views, and we got a few drinks at the mini Aprés ski bar, which was affordable and overall good vibes. Overall 100% worth the money, and our favourite day out in Lucerne.

Would definitely recommend this trip from lucerne to mt titlis. There was plenty of free time at the top and the views were spectacular! Pedro was a great guide and very friendly.

Count at least 30 minutes each way for the journey up and down from/to Engelberg with the Titlis cable car. At the top summit station, you may only need 2 hours to enjoy all activities, a bit more if the snow park is open.Dec 9, 2022 there was a cat at the to whitout a head and i did somthing to it.

The trip was conducted by Best of Switzerland. The staff were unfriendly. The point of first contact for a tour (not cheap) could have been more pleasant and welcoming. The bus was parked on the side of the road with no sign of the tour guide. When she arrived it was like a teacher had come o take students on a trip. There was no warmth. It was a job and no passion. The information was scanty. We were left to ourselves to figure out the way to the top. The crowd was literally stepping on each other’s toes. The ride to the mountain was a terrible experience with no room for personal space and everyone pushing you from behind. Please don’t choose to go here on a public holiday. The staff at the top were not helpful either.

I 100% felt ripped off on this tour. The cost not worth it. You can book all the same experiences direct from the Mt Titliswebsite and save an incredible amount of money. I did the math after our trip and realized that my family of 4 paid $93 EACH for coach bus to the mountain. We could’ve taken a cab for a whole lot less than $400. It’s not like there was a narrated tour on the bus or anything. Nor was this tour an opportunity to skip chaos. All other La Vacanza Travel tours I’ve done, very much worth it. This one, no way.
