Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. Our guide, Mr. Ragab Ramadan took us over the two days and the whole experience was excellent. The driver picked us up at our hotel promptly and we picked up Mr. Ramadan on the way to the Valley of Kings. Mr. Ramadan was very sociable, with a great sense of humor, and his English was very fluent. His knowledge of the history was comprehensive. He was very responsive to our wishes and needs, and in addition to the sites, we were pleased with his choices of shops. The driver did a great job and was always nearby at the appointed times. Return to the hotel was on time as promised. We have been to Luxor on previous occasions, and this was by far the best tour we have taken.

I had the most wonderful two days with our guide Mr. Amin. First day we went to the West Bank, he advice us on which tomb to enter and gave us a very clear and easy to understand explanation. He’s extremely knowledgeable and very relaxed. He never rushed us anywhere we went. He was the best guide we had, and we been on alotttt of tours, he was the best. We also went to kings’s Seti and King Tut’s tombs, was an amazing experience. After that we went to Hatshepsut temple, then queen’s valley, went to Nefertari’s tomb, one word to describe the experience, AMAZING. Colors were still so vivid. So beautiful, the best tomb we went all day. The second day we went to Habu temple, here our guide showed us many secret places and many cool ancient Graffiti. And also gave us funny and good fun facts. Then we went to Karnak temple and Luxor temple, amazing places. I tell u if u have a chance, request for Mr. Amin, he came prepared with paper slide shows to explain you the stories and amazing fun fact u can’t find on the internet. I really really had a wonderful time touring in both 2 days. Thanks to you Mr. Amin.
