Ahmad El-Sisi was very knowledgeable and passionate about all the highlights of this trip. He went above and beyond explaining and making somewhat part of the Egyptian story easy to understand. Explained where the Rx used in western medicine originated from amongst other interesting information. We felt safe, and the guide showed us great hospitality. Just be aware when going to the alabaster factory and other places they take you that the hustle is real.

We were very fortunate to have Mahmoud as our guide for Luxor-Aswan-Abu simbel. The trip was very well planned and we can’t thank Mahmoud enough for this great trip! Not only did his knowledge on Egyptian history impress us greatly, his sincerity in helping us was very praiseworthy. Highly recommend Egypt Direct Tours and of course Mr Mahmoud for a full Egyptian experience!

If you're into temples this is your tour! But it is so much more! I got picked up by car at my hotel and then rode to a many number of temples. My guide was friendly and happy to answer questions; he is also a great photographer and helped me to purchase my 18 Karat gold Cartouche for a VERY reasonable price. Lunch was okay, at an all you can eat buffet. You get to ride across the nile for free in a traditional Egyptian boat, as a foreigner this is very exciting, I don't know why they don't advertise this, its very cool! We also visited an alabaster shop, bring money to spend if you have space in your suitcase. I must warn you about additional costs to what you pay up front ($125), tips are not included and they expect to be tipped and it made things a little awkward. Also the cost of one temple ticket is not included so bring a little cash to blow with you (300 Egyptian euros). Finally, your guide will try to sell you additional tours and it can be a little pressuring but I ended up buying a balloon tour at his suggestion and it was the best experience of my whole life! They then returned me to my hotel. The tour went from 8am to 3pm.

BOY bring a wet towel to stay cool, Valley of the Kings we go in 3 tombs which you pick, I could have skipped Queen Hatshepstu Temple but Luxor and Karnak Temples are the best. Our guides were young and seem to just want to get done. I could have stayed at Karnak but gosh it makes a long day with such amazing temples.
