This is a small ʻohana run business. We are one of the few companies on Maui owned and operated by born and raised captains. Our hand-selected and trained staff have been on island operating boats collectively for nearly 100 years, you can rest assured that your experience will be top notch.

Stop At: Maui, Maui, Hawaii

Come join us on our morning snorkel sail on S/V Artemis. We begin by sailing around beautiful Ma’alaea Bay which offers offshore steady winds and calm water. We then sail over to breathtaking Pali cliffs on the way to West Maui, or to a satellite reef off the shoreline of north Kihei for our own private snorkeling spot. Tucked beneath the cliffs are large coral outcroppings that make for beautiful underwater topography and snorkeling. We have a variety of sites along this coast which are some of Maui’s premier snorkel sites including Coral Gardens.

Only accessible by boat, you and your family can get away from large crowds and enjoy your own private snorkeling spot! We start with 5 hours allowing plenty of time to relax and snorkel, as well as watch whales during our winter months, but we highly suggest adding hours to take advantage of all S/V Artemis and Maui have to offer.

  • Alcoholic Beverages - Alcoholic beverages are not included. However, you are welcome to bring alcohol onboard and we have all the appropriate glassware for serving. Legal drinking age is 21+ years of age.

Second time going out with Captain Anna on a whale watch. Anna and her team know their stuff. Our family member’s ages ranged from 2 to 68. We split up between two boats and everyone stepped off saying it was a once in a lifetime experience…while hoping it won’t be as we all want to come back! A light breakfast, drinks and a charcuterie lunch were all a nice touch. The whales were very active during our three hours and we all enjoyed the action - especially the antics of the baby whales. If you’re thinking of doing an outing with Captain Anna I suggest you do it!

Absolutely amazing experience, have done trips in many places but this was the best. Capt. Keira and the crew were personable, knowledgeable yet not intrusive. The food was good and even healthy, cannot say enough about them. Would highly recommend to anyone

Best boat charter ever!!! Capt. Anna and soon to be capt. Tennasyn were absolutely amazing, from the time we booked the trip until we docked at the end of the day. Great conversation, customer service, Maui knowledge, food, guided snorkeling to say the least! We saw the biggest sea turtles, dolphins and not one but potentially 3 different whales. The best part of the day for me was my wife sitting with me at he back of our boat on the return trip in. She cried. She was so happy at the day we just had, she actually cried. I can't say thank you enough for that! We will be back!
