If anyone is reading this to learn more about the Alii Nui, stop what you’re doing and reserve your spots immediately! From the friendly staff (shoutout Jordan, Joe, Corey, Robert, and Gray) to the delicious food and drinks, the Alii Nui made an otherwise fantastic vacation into the best ever. Any trip to Maui would be incomplete without a voyage on the Alii Nui! So if you’re considering taking a ride on a charter, I would 1000% recommend choosing the Alii Nui.
It might make sense for the snorkel trip to use this company, but the luxury sunset tour isn't a good value. The food and drinks are really only average and there isn't really much to see and do since half the tour on the water is after sunset so it is dark by then. The crew tries hard to please except for one gal that was obviously not happy to be working, They also brought the boat to the dock early so the tour did not last the total 2.5 hours. Overall, the trip was ok but it just isn't worth the high cost of the tour. (We have been on many of the boats around the island to compare.)
The Alii Nui Royal Sunset Dinner Cruise was simply fantastic! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff was exceptional, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options that pleased everyone. The drinks were top-notch and kept flowing smoothly. The boat itself was beautiful, providing stunning views of the sunset and the coastline. It was a truly lovely and memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delightful evening on the waters of Maui!
Our trip with Captain Bree who braved the wind and didn’t cancel like all of our others was perfect. She took us to a cove and anchored for our sunset sail. Sure some would be bothered but it was the perfect balance of comfort, safety and luxury. Logan kept our drinks coming. Robin, Corey and Ryan were A+++ service with our food, drinks and attitude. The catering was spot on. We didn’t see much whale wise and didn’t get to sail long, but we didn’t think we’d go out so it was a perfect night. Bree is so friendly and kind, I truly can’t say I’ve been on a better staffed sunset sail and we’ve been on Trilogy, pac whale, sea Maui, hula girl (close!). This team was the best service we’ve had on the island by far!
When you go on the Alii Nui you can expect a first class experience, and the Thanksgiving sunset cruise was no different The Captain and her crew are first class and ensured you had a safe, and fabulous trip. They do not book the Alii Nui to capacity, so everyone has room to have a very comfortable ride. The Thanksgiving feast was excellent, and the cocktails were amazing and the entire 2.5 hour excursion was awesome.
