Itinerary
What’s that small brown bird in my backyard? What’s that bird waking me up at 5am? Where can I see a Fairy Wren? What does a Honeyeater eat? How do I find a Tawny Frogmouth? What birds are in my local park? Where can I find birds in Melbourne? What’s the best camera for bird photography?
Whether these are the kinds of questions you’ve got, or maybe you have a hundred others, it sounds like one of Life Gone Wild’s guided birdwatching workshops are just the ticket for you! Over three and a half hours, join one of our expert guides who will take you around one of our favourite locations for birding in Melbourne and find as many birds as they can. All the while, they’ll answer any questions you might have (and maybe even some you hadn’t thought of yet), provide you with 'in the field' experience with different techniques, and talk you through recognising bird calls. They’ll even teach you how to use a guidebook, how to pick out a pair of binoculars, and plenty of tips and tricks to make bird identification that little bit easier!
These tours are perfect for those that want to take the next step on their wildlife watching journey (whether that’s a first step or a tenth).
