I've been renting from them the past 4 years whenever I come visit Miami, but my trip this time was not pleasant. Once we left, the guy that checked us in was non stop calling us. We were following other boats and literally wasn't doing any waves while on the canal and got a call from them saying we were speeding. How can we speed if we have a boat in front of us and behind us? We went with the flow of traffic... Then once we got to the island we wanted too. He none stop called us again and told us this isn't the island we wanted to go too and kept trying to force us to go to another island? I mentioned to him that the island we are at now was the one I go to every year. Then it rained really bad and we left at 3 pm from the island to try and make it back by 4:10pm. Obviously we had to slow down and be cautious and there were many many boats going back to the marina so we were late by 20 mins and he went and charged us $100 extra. Overall, I've never had issues before with them till this time 9/9/2023 (my bday) and will probably not rent from them again. He made our experience the worst bday experience we ever had and I have many friends who I could recommend to them but definitely will tell them to go with other companies.

I found these guys on Groupon, However, you ever hear the expression you get what you pay for. Number 1, the place is in a not so good of area and is a 30-minute boat ride on the river to get to the intercostal. (Maybe it’s best to find something closer to the marina or around Bayside) Second, the place has meter parking and is in a sketchy area with homeless and people selling drugs around the area. Although they will charge you $15 to park on their property that is gated. Third, the boats they use are run down and old, it’s not a nice new-looking boat. Number Four, they will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING! As I mentioned there will be a $15 parking fee, if you want ICE it's $8, if you want Water there is a charge for that, If you go over 8 MPH on the river to the intercostal you will be fined. They have a GPS that monitors your speed and send it to their office. … There are LOTS of waivers and forms to fill out, if you “ding” their old boats or scratch the fenders (that’s what fenders are for) you will be charged for everything (it’s actually outlined with every dollar you have to agree to pay, before renting) They will charge your credit card a $300 deposit that takes forever to get returned to you if they feel like not charging you for any damage. Now, This is the best part.. If you complain and in my case, they promised me that the gas and ICE were included (they charged me for it at the time of the rental an extra $70) then they tell you the ICE is not included it’s another $8 when they assured me it was included. If you COMPLAIN or if you tell them you will write a poor review they will cancel their rental with you on the spot. (What happened to your first amendment rights?) REMEMBER: You get what you pay for, never forget that. If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

We had a hiccup happen on our trip and had to re-group. We found this on La Vacanza Travel and took a chance to get out on the water in Miami. The team was friendly and communicated well. The boat was a decent size for a couple of people. They made the entire process easy. I would recommend them to others.
