Overview

We've been hosting this successful experience for three years already.

You will discover a new way to appreciate and play curling and interact with a team.
You will connect with still active retirees

We created this unique experience to reach everyone and every type of personality. We have a history part, then some trivia, a curling game, and finally some dexterity competition.

This experience is designed to serve all purposes, as a bachelorette, bachelor, couple, family, team building, etc.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

When you arrive, I, Michel, Gord, Maureen Bob, Claude, or Peter(One of us only) will welcome you with the warmest smile.
Then we'll discuss curling history and fun facts. After we will go on the ice and try a few techniques for 1 hour and 45 minutes, laughs will be on the menu, then you’ll jump right into the action of one of our country's favorite sports.

We also support Retirees that still want to be active, by hosting you as well, if I'm not hosting they will.

Awesome Curling Experience is intended to accommodate all kinds of people athletic to non-athletic.
Minimum is 12 Years old.

What do you need? REALLY IMPORTANT!
You need an extra pair of sneakers that haven't been worn in the snow. Because we don't want the salt to melt the ice. Avoid Converse and Vans.

Please try to come 15-20 minutes early, traffic in unpredictable.

BRING comfortable sports clothes and WARM(Gloves, scarf, and winter coat)!

No alcohol consumption before and during the event.

Location changed last minute and we had to speed across town to the new location. The event started over an hour late but was a very amazing experience once it got going.

John was our instructor and he did an amazing job. He showed us curling and stick curling (definitely recommend the stick curling 😉) We learned about the rules of curling and had fun playing a few ends. Definitely going to look into continuing stick curling when I get back home to MA. Highly recommend.

Great experience! Really good fun. Instructor was great and he tailored the activity to different abilities. I couldn't do the correct way of bobbing down on one leg, but there was an easier way using a stick. Then I could take part. We were at the Royal Curling Club, which was a really interesting historic venue. There's parking right next door for $18. It's 5 degrees Celsius inside so not as cold as you'd think. I wore gloves, but not every one did. Didn't need my coat. You wear incredibly good rubber over-shoes which makes the ice non-slip. Would highly recommend.

So fun! We took 3 of our teenage daughters and we all had a great time. Our instructor, Ryan, taught us the basics then separated us into two teams & we played a game. The time flew by! I would highly recommend doing this!

Curling is one of those sports that you think looks goofy on TV and you don't realize how challenging it can be until you experience it in person. However, taking a class gives you not only an appreciation for the skill involved, but also the fun that can be had. My family and I signed up for this class and we all had an amazing time (including my 15 year old daughter). Damien was an outstanding instructor and made sure everyone was participating and providing helpful tips along the way. I would recommend this class in a heartbeat to anyone in the area. You will have a lot of fun and gain a new appreciation for this sport. Thank you!
