Visit of the largest basilica in Canada founded by Saint Brother André in 1904. With the 2nd largest dome in the Christian world, the St Joseph's Oratory dominate the western parts of the Montreal island offering a magnificent view.

Came to Montreal to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary and attend the amazing Andre Bocelli concert. "The tour" was the 'icing on the beautiful time in Montreal! Thanks to Fran, our tour guide who was so informative about the places we visited and familiar with the escape routes away from terrible traffic. She found 'little quick, unknown to others, detours' that help keep us on track time wise and destination arrival. She quickly helped to get our little group of 4 connected and chatted with each of us easily. The van was very comfortable and made for an excellent travel experience. Fran was very thoughtful when it came to my walking challenges and did not make me feel my slowness was any bother to her at all. The high points of Montreal are amazing and though it was rainy and windy, we still easily enjoyed the points of interest, exactly as mentioned in your description. Navigating the construction and traffic in Old Montreal was a great talent of competent driving and knowing the city as a true Montrealer would. Her English was perfect and her assistance to understanding French for us, ever so helpful. The tour was the perfect ending to a perfectly lovely 4 days in Montreal. Fran never rushed us through things and made every attempt to get close to places we stopped at, so as not to have us get poured upon by the rain. The information she gave about the square across from the Basilica was so enriching and as a Ontarian/Canadian we gained a greater understanding of the culture and history from another part of our great country. Being dropped at our hotel was also a great bonus to end the very inclement weather day. I would highly recommend this 1/2 day tour, and Fran who was a most thoughtful and very helpful young woman. If you have some mobility issues, this is a tour you will manage especially given Fran's gracious personality, empathy and skillsets as a tour guide . Thanks Fran for a great afternoon. I will certainly recommend you to our friends who will travel to Montreal.

The ride across Mont Royal, the cookies provided by our kind guide. It would be nicer to point out each area and not up and down the same few blocks. We missed where Chinatown was, also an Italian area with restaurants. Not so much about the history of the stone buildings. The time at Oratory would be better spent touring neighborhoods - a passing view would be enough for our 1st visit.

We took the 3 hour city tour with N-tours led by MOUNIR. He is your guy! Trust me. It was a wonderful way to see the city and learn so much about it. And, Mounir was knowledgeable and kind and great company.
