At 7:00 in the morning, a driver will pick you up from your New Delhi hotel or the airport. After that, a driver will take you to Nizamuddin Railway Station so you may catch a train to Agra. Travel to Agra in India's newest train, the Gatiman Express, a fast train that travels 116.6 miles (188 kilometres) in about 80 minutes. At 8:10 a.m., board the train at Delhi. One of the stewards of the Gatiman Express will serve you breakfast. Enjoy your breakfast and the view from the extra-large windows while you relax and rejuvenate.

You will be driven to the nearby Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, after your visit of the Taj Mahal. constructed from red sandstone between 1565 and 1573. Up until the Mughals seized it during the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi, it served as the primary palace for the Sikarwar clan of Rajput monarchs. Other names for it included "Lal-Qila," "Fort Rouge," and "Qila-i-Akbari."
Behind its 2.5 km-long encircling walls, this majestic red sandstone castle houses the imperial palace of the Mughal rulers. It has a number of fantastical palaces, such as Shah Jahan's wonders, the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, as well as two fine mosques and audience halls like the Diwan-i-Khas.
