    19th April at 8.30pm. Ever so rude security guy yelling in my face whilst I was doing as I was asked spoilt my experience completely so much so I wouldn’t pose for an overpriced photo. He really needs a new job !! Good at the top but apart from the view there was nothing else at that level. Some random music and a few seats but no bar and no access to any other floors at this time. Iconic viewing area which we really enjoyed. Staff member sorting the lifts down was so lovely though. What is it with NYC security staff? so aggressive!

    I went at 10:15, the sky was plenty dark enough to see the city lights. The view was amazing, I took a lot of photos. Highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC!

    No idea what value this got us. Most of the staff were unaware of the tickets, tickets didn’t scan half the time so staff would let us through. Would have been much cheaper ($240 compared to almost $300) to just buy the express lane directly from the Empire State Building.

    This was our second visit up one of the “tall buildings” on our trip and they are all pretty much the same set up so you might want to think when and where you go up as it can be a bit repetitive if you do the same. That said, the experience was great, as too were the views. We did the Express ticket and went to the top floor as well and we were glad we did. The views from the top level are stunning and its floor to ceiling glass. The express ticket came in handy on the way down as you are fast tracked to the lifts and the queues did look quite long.

    Wonderful view, but the security personnel were awful. One security guard at a check point was very rude. BTW, bring an electronic ticket for the paper tickets you can print ahead of time don’t work.
