Itinerary
We offer the opportunity to live an artistic experience to anyone who wants to know and deepen the basic techniques of local craftsmanship.
The artistic laboratory is managed by Giovanna Parlato, an artist from Positano who creates objects in terracotta, modeled and decorated by hand with care and dedication.
We will start the lesson with a brief explanation of the ceramic tradition of the Amalfi Coast. You will then have the opportunity to decorate an object in the famous “majolica” technique. Once the work is finished, each artistic work will be carefully inserted into the special kiln for ceramics, where it will slowly be brought to a temperature of 950°C.
The course lasts at least an hour during which we will let you taste a delicious local limoncello, included in the price there is also a nice souvenir photo and the shipment of the object made once cooking is complete!
