Guests will be amazed at the sight of a huge beaver dam on the lake, the abundant wildlife, and the beautiful Quebec forest and landscapes. Watching a real shepherd dog is also a treat and fresh and homemade picking is the perfect way to end a memorable day.

Itinerary

Upon meeting with a professional woodsman and guide, guests will learn about packing goats and go on a hike in the Quebec backcountry to learn about wildlife and discover amazing landscapes.

We will visit an impressive beaver dam, learn about tracking animals, and have a delicious picnic in the woods. Our goats are super friendly, love to cuddle, and enjoy taking selfies with guests of all ages.

It is truly a unique and memorable experience.

    Loved the whole day, a more local activity to do in Québec for people who are interested, less touristy. Lived being in the forest even with the crazy weather, the snow made it even better. The goats were so funny and Luna the dog is a very loyal protector (but get ready to throw her stick). François was very knowledgeable about the nature around us and cooked a delicious warm lunch on a fire. All in all a fantastic time.

    Francois was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and was happy to explain everything in both French and English. The canyon we visited was gorgeous and it was such a fun and unique experience with the goats and the lovely dog Luna. Francois made lunch over a warm fire which was excellent for the cold weather and felt very much like camping with friends which was great.

    This tour was incredible and exceeded every expectation I had. Our weekend in Quebec was filled with rain; but François was eager to accommodate us. To avoid cancellation due to weather, he offered to delay the forest tour just a few hours so we could catch the sunshine – and happily worked around our schedule. During the tour, François was courteous and very informative. We learned so much about the area, its history, how to track and identify animals, and the foliage. Safety was the top priority, and we felt in very good hands with him and his beautiful dog Luna, and goats, Thèo and Buzz. He cooked a delicious meal for us (complete with dessert), and conversation flowed freely and easily. Highly recommend this for anyone interested in an outdoorsy activity that is also family friendly.

    Very fun experience, Francois was very nice and knowledgeable about where we hiked. He made us lunch over a fire and it was very delicious

    Stay away from this guy is a scammer!! He charged us $300 for a 10 minute walk in the woods? And he had the nerve to tell me I am out of shape so I can't have the meal only a coffeee??coffee??? Beware!! Use a reputable goat hiking company not this guy is so rude insulting me in front of my child !!
