Overview

Noble Jones Architect Tour is an opportunity to learn about Savannah's architecture and the architects behind the buildings. The guest limit is capped at ten people for this tour, making this the only semi-private tour in Savannah, GA. This gives our guests the opportunity to ask questions and have a more personal experience with our guides.

Architecture is the material essence of the city and in a little over a century. These five men became the soul of the movement to match the beauty of the square design of our city.

This guided walking tour of the historic district includes an examination of the historic homes and buildings from 1817 through 1923. An interpretation of the architect's works and contributions to the city is discussed.

Kelse was a Fabulous guide. We had a great few hours learning about the history of the city and all of the various types of architecture throughout. He answered all our questions, had fun stories and pointed out details we would never have noticed on our own. Highly recommend.

Everything was memorable! The guide was knowledgeable and witty! He was very thorough and spent a lot of time explaining the architects styles and lives, which helps you remember. This tour was a full two hours of walking but could easily be longer due to all the beautiful homes and buildings.

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I was hoping this tour company specialized in architecture but it appears the business gives a variety of different tours and this was one. I just felt like there was something missing. Perhaps I was hoping for more of the history of the architecture/development of the whole city rather than a focus on a few architects. I was hoping to understand Savannah through its architecture and felt I didn’t get enough of that overall. At any rate. Well done. Just not perfect, imo.

Kelse's knowledge of history aided in our tour. The 2 hours was extremely educational. My wife, son, and I enjoyed the experience.
