Reduce to the max: Perfect 3-day-tour package/taste of China
In April, my colleague and I were traveling to China on business and since this was our first time to China, we decided to look for an add-on-program in order to get a first taste of China.
To cut a long story short: We can highly recommend this three-day-trip of Xian and Beijing since it is a truly perfect option for extending a business trip also for a single-traveling person. The organization, guides, drivers, accommodation, food and - most importantly - the sites we visited were amazing.
What made this an even more amazing trip was that my colleague and I were ending up being just the two of us - having our own tour guides and drivers. This allowed us to move at our individual pace. Both of our tour guides wonderful and lively Rosemary in Xian and vibrant and talkative Tory in Beijing were professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about giving us insights in Chinese culture, people and food. Both of them made sure to help us with the check-ins at the airport even at VERY early hours and went out of their way to give us the best possible and individual experience of this three-day trip. Overall, Xian surprisingly was our favorite spot: Rosemary, in particular, made this trip so special since it was her hometown Xian which she showed us - and you could tell she was proud and passionate about it as we were the first guest to be shown around her town. The terracotta-warriors are just stunning and were complemented by a calming, very enjoyable and not too touristy tea house ceremony. The food in Xian lunch and in particular dinner was abundant and absolutely delicious. And the walk through the Muslim quarter was yet another highlight of Xian before checking in a truly fantastic 5-star-hotel. It was hard to beat the Xian experience upon arriving in Beijing - but the trip to the Chinese Wall we loved it that Tory took us the the even more beautiful, yet remote spot in Muianyu and the visit of the Temple of Heaven in sunset were a beautiful experience. We also went to eat Beijing Duck and saw a Beijing Opera medley - and experience we would rather recommend to skip unless someone is a true passionate of such music and performance. The hotel in Beijing would definitely need an update and upgrade and even though it was only April an A/C. Not to be compared to the luxurious hotel in Xian. The last day was unfortunately very rainy and the visit of the Forbidden City a fight of umbrellas - but we could get the beauty of this site despite the masses !!! of ruthless tourists. Our guide Tory went out of her way to give us a great last day in China before departing back to Europe: She dropped us off at a great lunch spot at one of the small lakes in Beijing where we had Vietnamese-inspired food. After that, we went through the Hutong area little shops, very worthwhile visiting for 2 hour-stroll or so before meeting Tory again who helped us get into a Chinese artistic show. We were very thankful for this offer since almost nobody speaks English neither taxi drives nor the vast majority of people in Shanghai,Xian nor Beijing - so you really need a guide/translator. The show was very enjoyable - and complemented our compact three-day-trip of this truly unique and fascinating country. We can highly recommend this three-day-trip!

We had a great 3 day tour.our Guide Rosemary in Xian was fabulous. We wished it could have been longer but we saw all the highlights in a day there. Amazing Terra Cotta Warriors, and Rosemary took us to good places to eat . Her suggestions were very good since we had no idea what to try. The Hotel was very good . Torry in Beijing was fabulous. Showing these awesome sights of the Great Wall,Pearl Market, Tienman Square, Forbidden City, Heavenly Temple in one afternoon and the next morning. Full itinerary. Also, wished we had an extra day but that is what we signed up to do. We had an excellent Peking dinner. The Hotel was not in the best neighborhood. Everyone was great, took care of us at the airports, tours, and foods. We had an excellent time and saw once in a lifetime historical sites/places.

I've been traveling in China on business for the last 25 years and never took the time to slow down and see the key sites. I Finally took the time and also brought my wife along for her first trip to Asia. I still had business to do, so this was a perfect tour package for us to see as much as possible in 3 days. What made this an even more amazing trip was our own personal tour guides and driver. This allowed us to move at our own pace. Both of our tour guides were professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about ensuring we got the most out of the tours. Michael in Xi'an and Torry in Beijing were simply exceptional. We would highly recommend this to anyone. Happy traveling!!

Excellent option for traveling to China on business. I booked this tour to see as many sights as I could with my limited schedule. Airport pick ups were great and drop offs included attentive check in at the airports. The guides were great and the food was abundant. I could have skipped the shopping stops, but that's just my own preference. There was another woman from US also traveling on business that had booked the same tour, so we enjoyed some meals together. Too bad the tour company didn't offer to pair us up to share a guide and driver, as we could both have saved some money. First hotel so-so, second was great. Overall, a fantastic option for a quick visit to this amazing country.
