Stop At: Sharm El Sheikh, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai

You will be picked up from your hotel by vehicle in the early morning and driven in about 90 minutes through the fascinating stone desert of the Sinai to the Colored Canyon Salama. There you have around 1 hour to explore the gorge with its fascinating layers of rock and rock formations with your guide. The further course leads you to the famous Blue Hole of Dahab, where you have time to relax or snorkel in the unique underwater world of the Red Sea with its grandiose colors and fish. After lunch on the beach, continue to Dahab. Known as a hippie community, Dahab invites you to take a leisurely stroll and shop for holiday souvenirs. From Dahab you will return to your hotel.

Dahab is a must! It is a beautiful city with Bedouin population. The Bedouin people are so nice. The Blue Hole is wonderful! The Colored Canyon at Salama is also a must! The tour guide (Hamada) is so knowledgeable, talking in Arabic, English, Russian and Italian, and with wide information.

I would like to thank the agency that, through telephone correspondence alone, made us spend a wonderful day in Dahab, allowing us to take an unforgettable dive into the blue hole, in a context of unique millennial corals. Following a short camel ride, allowed us to have a nice experience and then move on to the suggestive mountain of Sinai, where we travelled a narrow chenion of more than a kilometre, to get to the top of the mountain that gives a magnificent and suggestive 360 * view. Special thanks to the leader of the circumstance Mahmoud (called Kito) who with commitment and a good dose of patience, made the whole group do the experiences described. Picked up about 8am in packed minibus and headed to Dahab. First to hire shop for fins/wetsuit then to the beach where you could ride a camel. For the camel's benefit, we decided against that but our guide arranged for us to join a quad tour instead, which was definitely more fun. We snorkelled for a while in big waves, though there was a ring to hold onto for poor swimmers. Then a lunch of chicken and rice, followed by a trip to a perfume hop where my wife bought some flower essences. Then another half hour to the Coloured canyon, where a mad jeep ride across the desert took us to the canyon, where hiked and climbed down through it. Bedouin children trying to sell trinkets before heading home for 6.30. Amazing value and Kareem our guide was excellent, always explaining everything, helping with equipment and keeping us safe. It really was an action packed day, and we even got some photos from the guy who was sent to detail our adventures.

Went on this trip yesterday. Very long day (11 hours) due to distances involved. First get to dahab and get rental snorkelling gear. Note rental at own cost. I just needed life vest at 150 EP, so cant say what snorkel, mask etc costs. Would reccomend wetsuit as sea cold in January. Next stop was for those who paid for quad bikes. They later ate and snorkelled elsewhere, so they did not go to Blue Hole. We then went onto Blue Hole, stopping for short camel ride before BH. 15mins? Arranged in restaurant (Bedioun style) then left to do your own snorkell thing at Blue Hole. 45 mins allowed snorkelling, then 45 mins for lunch (included) . Rice, veggies and chicken quarter. Drinks extra and cash only! Then go back to bus, pick up others, then onto perfume store in Dahab, who also sell jewellery. I wanted something that would took half hour to make, so guide said could buy and pick up on way back. However, shop sent item with kid on bicycle to catch the bus ( phoned driver) so did not have to return. Onto red canyon, 40mins north of Dahab. away. Done by jeep as on sand about 10mins from road. NOTE! It is a ONE WAY walking trip - not mentioned in itineary - through Canyon with several places where going down levels are not easy for some people, eg 1m drop. Also one place is between two rocks where a very large person may struggle to get through. Be warned. Looks level at start but does not stayed that way! Would have given 5 if not for dried up chicken and not knowing it was one way through canyon. Very good trip otherwise. Karim , the guide, very good. Informative and witty.
