The driver was 1 hour late. The booking said I was Italian but I am British which caused much confusion. The dive master didn't have a record of my try dive. La Vacanza Travel clearly didn't pass on simple instructions which caused irritation. The trip is with a fleet of other boats. Prepare for longs waits if you want to go on this trip.

Great trip. Very friendly staff onboard, great scuba diving experience for begginers - a 10-15 min dive with instructor that guide you down the reef taking care about safety issues. Nice snorkeling spots and White Island, of course. Enjoyed it very much along with my daughter👍🏻

I`ll start with the positives, the boat was amazing, very clean and numbers were low, staff were very friendly and the one dive we had was a really nice experience with one to one dives. white island looked lovely but was extremely crowded! As for the negatives, the process of checking in and boarding the boat was controlled but felt very chaotic and took far too long- over an hour in fact. We had booked a ticket including the dive for 3 and all equipment for this, however when we arrived we were downn as only one person diving and were told we had to pay for the snorkeling equipment, 12 dollars I beleive, this was eventually sorted out and we didn`t pay for equipment and all 3 of us did dive, but it just added a bit of stress to the day that we could have done without. Having taken over an hour to get going we arrived at the snorkeling/diving site late which meant only one snorkeling stop and not the two we should have done. The staff seemed to have an issue with you snorkeling on your own and treid to keep everyone together one a life ring (not easy when theres a dozen or more of you) and usher you around the reef all together which made it very difficult to relax and enjoy the views of the reef and fish. The photos and videos were quite nice, but the price they were trying to get for them was vey high and even after some haggling I think they came out with a very good deal for them! ( I appreciate they have bought the equipment and need to recover their costs, but if they reduced the prices they would sell a lot more). White island was a short swim from the boat, we were told to take sunglasses ( not something I usually swim in, so took my reaction prescription glasses), unfortunately on the way back I slipped off the boat ladder and unbeknown to me lost my glasses, by the time I realised it was too late, engines had been started and I didn`t get the opportunity to go and find them, so another couple of hundred pounds lost....
