I’m so grateful we decided to take this tour. Mainly so that we didn’t have to do the driving ourselves. Traffic can be so tedious. Antonio was our tour guide and he was wonderful. Our stops were in Positano, Amalfi and Ravelo with the delicious lunch outside of Ravelo overlooking the ocean. Antonio was knowledgeable, pointing out important landmarks, punctual, he kept us moving and laughing and played great music for us on the way home.

We were picked up promptly by Antonio, who was delightful. He gave us great information about each village and stopped so we could take pictures along the coast. We stopped in Positano, Amalfi and lunched in Ravello. Lunch was amazing and the views breathtaking. Along the way Antonio made sure we had ideas on where to go and great instructions on meeting up so no one got lost. There were 6 of us on the trip and we had the best time ever. Would highly recommend this tour. 5 Stars !

Bus was very clean and comfortable and Marcella was a very careful driver. The scenery was stunning and Marcella knew all the best places to stop for panoramic views. I thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip (an additional 20euros) although other members of the group felt they had been pressured into going. Marcella did a great job with the commentary but was up against it having to concentrate on some very busy roads and crazy driving. Lunch was not good. I was on the same trip as Julie t. Any good restauranteur would have apologised for running out of a particular dish and asked us to choose something else when we ordered. The bolognaise was poor and the Bruschetta wasn't much better. When we complained we were offered something else but had waited long enough and wanted to get going. I'd never been on a guided tour before and thought the food was just normal for a group tour. During our holiday we went on 2 other tours and the food we got was exceptional. Shame because it put a real damper on the day.

This was our first visit to Italy, and we wanted to tour the Amalfi coast area. Looking at trip reviews we saw that the Maxitours trip was very highly rated/recommended. We chose Maxitours and we were very impressed and delighted. Our guide/driver, Enzo was very personable and shared some interesting history of the areas we toured.
