Stop At: Positano, Positano, Amalfi Coast, Province of Salerno, Campania

First stop POSITANO: Our vehicles can enter the town of Positano saving you time and your legs! The 5-star, chic hotspot for the rich and famous. One hour free time to wander the traffic-free lanes, covered in magenta bougainvillaea, lined with linen shops, art galleries and cafes. As you make your way down through the vertical town you will pass by the main church and finally arrive at the seafront of the crystal-blue, Mediterranean sea.

Stop At: Ravello, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Province of Salerno, Campania

Here we find the famous gardens of Villa Rufolo, with its breathtaking view over the Amalfi Coast. Long known as a retreat for great artists and writers follow in their footprints as you take a relaxing walk through the main town. Visit the local Cathedral, shopping alleys or simply enjoy a cool drink in the main Piazza, before meeting up again with your driver.

The main town along the Amalfi Coast. Take a short stroll to admire the stunning cathedral of St. Andrew with its excellent examples of medieval architecture with Moorish influence, along with the adjacent Cloister of Paradise. Visit the paper mill or just enjoy the main piazza and its shops.

Luigi was amazing!!!! He took us around the Almalfi coast for the entire day. Not only did he explain clearly what the day would entail, including many quick stops for photos but how long we would have in each town. He was a great driver as well. Arrived on-time and handled the tricky road with ease. But it was Luigi himself, as our local guide, which made this a wonderful experience for our family. He shared history and stories as a life long resident of the area. He pointed out everything from fancy homes to all of the flora and fauna. He was so nice and friendly and we had a wonderful day of comfortable conversations. It was as if we were taking a tour with an old friend. It was the perfect last day in Italy after a 10 days trip. I would also like to commend the staff at the tour company. They contacted me soon after booking to let me Know we could leave a bit later in the morning since it was not the high season and it would not take as long. They even issued a small refund. All in all a perfect experience. If you book with this company ask for Luigi!

We had 2 different drivers pick us up in 2 different ports while on a cruise ship. We communicated with Sarah and she was always very responsive and helped us come up with 2 great trips based on the ports we were in. Both drivers, Alberto (Coca-Cola) and Arturo were excellent. English was good and with Sarahs planning we were the first on Mt Vesuvius and avoided all the crowds. We had a great lunch at a winery and very much enjoyed our time with AP tours and will definitely use again. Everything was right on time and so much nicer to have an expert drive the Amafali coast. Coca-Cola even made reservations for us in Revello so we had a great view of the coast. We will definitely use again.

Our drivers were so vital to our enjoyment of southern Italy. We had three different private drivers picking us up in 3 different hotels during our stay. Our travel planner who has visited Italy herself more than 60 times certainly knows who to pick as a driver service. We will definitely use them again in the future as they were prompt, professional, very polite and had a clean appearance and vehicle. Choose them with confidence you will not be disappointed.

Just wanted to say a massive ‘Thank you’ for the Amalfi coast organising with military precision! We were a group of 6 girls celebrating our 60th over 6 days on the coast. Sarah and the team are going a great job and are excellent at communication & quick responses. The cars were immaculate…8 seater Merc vans All the drivers; Giovanni, Alberto & Arturo were fab and so witty, humorous and caring! They spoke good English and were excellent guides en route too And skilled! Much needed for the long drives on the Amalfi coast. Our pick up and drop off to Naples station was smooth & efficient, as were our trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where other guides were arranged. We did day trips to Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Paestum, the olive farms & Limencello factory from Sorrento where we were staying at Villa Puolo. Unfortunately we missed going to Vesuvius because of an accident en route and the traffic jams that followed. Alberto made every effort with plans B&C but we couldn’t make it …so Plan D worked, where he dropped us off at Naples for a walk about and some yummy treats. Sarah and the team are going a great job and are excellent at communication & quick responses. They made our trip so enjoyable and stress free! 100% recommended! Best wishes Sharmila

This is the second time we used Aptours. Only one word can express the experience, Outstanding! The detail to the arrangements to being met at the port and being picked up to the actual tour its self. Alberto our guide was so on top of everything. Being stuck in the tunnel to Sorrento due to a buckle in the road was not an issue and an alternative was suggested from our olive factory tour to time to walk around and enjoy Sorrento. Alberto guided us to where to walk and what to see. It was most enjoyable and glad we did it. A visit to a third generation farm with a family welcoming us with open arms to a wine tasting at the foot of Mt Vesuvius. What experiences! Sarah who we worked with us to arrange all of this is the best! She helped us design a tour that gave us a great memories. Thank you to the team at Aptours.
