Overview

The Barocco transfer includes:
Departure at 8.30 am, arrival in Ragusa Ibla 10.00 am (stop of about 2 hours). Departure for Modica - during the journey we will make a small stop of about 40 min. for a tasting of the famous Modica Chocolate. Departure for Noto (stop of about 2 hours + lunch break). Return to Syracuse.

Our cars are registered for public use, equipped with the required municipal permits and have free access to limited traffic areas and to preferential lanes in all cities.
Free bottled water wi fi.
Our drivers are provided with the authorizations required for the operation of vehicles in public service.
Upon request we offer guided tour services.

The ride was very comfortable, educational, and fun. Our driver, Giovanni Maltese, was the best. The destinations were spectacularly scenic and very enjoyable.

We had a very memorable day traveling thru the 3 baroque towns and southern Sicily. Claudio was both our wonderful driver and tour guide. He spent much time pointing out and describing the areas of interest we drove through on our way to each town. We learned much more about southern Sicily beyond the 3 towns. Claudio stopped at certain locations to allow for photo opportunities including panoramic views of the towns before we drove into each town. We spent about 1.5 hours exploring in each town which was enough to experience the character and beauty of baroque architecture. The churches were magnificent - we toured on a Saturday so we also had glimpses of weddings at the churches. Claudio also arranged for a local food tasting at a Noto shop to experience the local flavors. This tour was well worth our day and time - we returned with wonderful memories and pictures.

Our wonderful guide and driver Claudio was key in making this tour very memorable.. He was knowledgeable, energetic and presented information about the three towns along with educating us about the land, landmarks, sea, plant types as we drove thru southern Sicily. Claudio made sure we stopped at key landmarks for photo opps along the way to each town. We have beautiful panoramic photos of the towns along with great pictures while in town. He also arranged a tasting of local foods for us in Noto. The stops in each town were approx 1.5 hours each and enough to give us a sense of each town’s character and amazing baroque architecture. We covered a lot of ground that day and returned very satisfied with our experience. This is definitely a good tour if you’re looking to catch all 3 towns with an expert who knows the area. Ask for Claudio as your guide.

Molto bene! Giovanni was personable, knowledgeable and sooo much fun! He took us to all the must see spots. He was extremely accommodating. We never felt rushed. Made great recommendations for lunch and our “surprise” chocolate tasting. He even spent time teaching us the beautiful Sicilian language. Allora… if you want to see these beautiful towns you must see them with Giovanni as your guide. Tante Grazii!

Very nice tour of three cites, Ragusa, Modica, and Noto. Easy pickup in Ortigia. Claudio is a real gentleman. Between his English and my limited Italian we received good information about the tour. The big value of that our was seeing these three cities in one day without having to drive the Sicilian roads, and getting an overview. It would take more than a day to do justice to sightseeing all of them. The cities were unique and very lovely hilltop settings with beautiful Baroque buildings. The main focus of the tour, once at the cities, was churches. While we are Catholic, it would have been nice to visit other historic places there. That is not to say that the churches weren’t beautiful.
