Nicole our guide was fabulous. So knowledgeable and went at an easy pace. The building is spectacular absolutely recommend. Need to return when there is a performance on. Great activity and not full of tourists in a rush.

I am currently living in Venice, and what I have to say is that one should at least once in their lifetime visit La Fenice. The famous "La Traviata" was being performed, such a talented crew. I was amazed by the whole thing. I would like to highlight the fact that the staff was very professional and beyond helpful.

The tour did not exist...the opera house is not even open at 1pm apparently. The unhelpful woman at the Fenice told me to go to the operator's office which I could not find despite speaking Italian and asking various (helpful) locals. I was gutted...it was a dream of mine to see inside and the opera house itself does not appear to run tours. So basically it was a scam.
