This privately owned 55-acre display garden is located just 35 minutes north of downtown. We went to see all the Christmas lights around the gardens and we were not disappointed they were beautiful and awesome. Even had a ride on the carrousel bringing back childhood memories. We took public transport No.75 Bus from Victoria and back again.Took 40 minutes each way and kept excellent time keeping. Bargain price at only $5 each return. Better than $60 each way for a taxi and added to the experience

The gardens are beautiful even in November when there isn't much in bloom. The gardens were being decorated for Christmas. Not too busy so quiet with lots of time to sit and enjoy the water displays and Japanese garden. Still blooms on many of the rose bushes and the trees are beautiful. Delicious tea! Public transit drops and picks up from the gardens $5 round trip to downtown Victoria.

Excellent informative driver. Very relaxing drive back to Victoria, fall leaves in full splendor. Left on time and arrived back in Victoria on time.

We were extremely disappointed when we were informed on our way to the gardens that we may not have a ride back even though we purchased a round trip ticket. They told us they could not guarantee a seat and if there wasn’t room, we would need to figure out how to def back! Plus we only had about 90 minutes there. We thought we had more time than that. This is not good business and not honest. We took the city bus back when we paid over $30 round trip for the gardens each. We were very upset.
