So the people of Vienna are less than helpful! Trying to find a stop for the buses is almost impossible! When we did find one, the only friendly and helpful person was a guy who worked for the big bus company! Shame that we couldn’t take him with us.. we missed going to prater park as the traffic was soooo bad as little did we know( same weekend as marathon!) Sad because we paid for it as part of trip. The river cruise was horrendous! No direction of where to go or wait and then you sat in a lock for 20 minutes whilst you can’t hear the tour commentary as the boat is a restaurant too ! And the bus leaks water when it rains !

Waste of money and time! We paid €40 each person and were not even allowed to sit down. The things that have been told were not interesting and they kept telling us the same thing. Thereby, the bus stood still more often than it was riding. Very sad that we spilled so much time in the beautiful Vienna on this tour.

We were lead to believe the river cruise was on the main danube - we found out later it was not - after asking the driver to drop us off where the "River Cruise" start to allow us to get the boat - we found out very quickly he had dropped us off at the wrong stop - it was knee deep in snow and a wind chill of -5. We were told they move the trip into the city in the winter - at which time we had to wait over 30 mins for another bus. The big wheel "fast track" only gets you through the first barrier -at which you q with everyone else ! Nothing special for the monies

The ticket is good value however our bus driver never gave us our tickets (All four of us!) This was a problem when we showed the app At the ticket office for the boat trip. The women was extremely rude and was laughing at us when we were annoyed and taking the Micky out of us. Horrible person. She really was unhelpful and certainly not a great representative for the boat company or Austrian people.! We therefore had to wait for another bus to come along to speak to a representative of the bus company to get a ticket to exchange for the boat ride despite having everything the ticket on an app.

Perfect way of seeing Vienna with excellent audio guide We manged to do both red and blue routes in one day to give our feet a rest and whilst it made for a long day we truly saw most things and got grate overview of the City which we would never had if we had stuck to tourist spots only
