Stop At: Bratislava Old Town, Bratislava Slovakia

Departure of the bus from Vienna Erdberg Bus Station at 09:45 am. The journey to Bratislava takes about 1 hour. Drop off at Bratislava Most SNP bus stop. Please kindly be aware, that route from Vienna to Bratislava is unaccompanied. Free time for coffee or tea in Bratislava. Meeting with the guide at 12:00 pm in front of Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel, Rybne Namestie 1, Bratislava. One hour walking tour in a historical city center. Afterwards 2 course lunch in a local restaurant. At 14:30 pm beer tasting in a local microbrewery. During walking tour the guide will shows you where the microbrewery is located. At 18:20 pm departure of the bus to Vienna from Bratislava Most SNP bus stop, the same bus stop as you will arrive in Bratislava.

The tour and the city of Bratislava were both enjoyable. The location for the beer tasting has shut down, so the restaurant for lunch provided us three beers for tasting, so I guess that was ok. However, the directions for the unguided bus transportation were not clear enough. Everyone on the tour (over 12 of us) ended up stranded in Bratislava without any help from the tour company to help us find a way back to Vienna. If the company provides clearer instructions on where to meet the bus, this would be a 5 star experience.

The day tour was awesome even we came late because we go down to bus station. The driver did not announced that those will have a day tour will go down to that location. I called La Vacanza Travel up because we came late and they responded right away. The old town tour was lovely and Suzzana was great. Highly recommend tour once you stay in Vienna.

Our time with our guide Lucy was the highlight, don’t bother booking this tour with the added lunch. We walked past a million traditional Slovakian restaurants and heard how great they were, only to be taken to a restaurant outside of old town where we were given crumbed fried chicken pieces and chips ! We didn’t fly all the way from Australia for that, it was beyond disappointing, the waitress said she hoped it was as good as kfc ! Don’t waste the money, stick with just the tour guide then find your own lunch, we wish we knew it was going to be non traditional we would have left.

Food was good. Beer tasting is OK. Bus drive is short and pick-up and drops are on time. 3 hrs is more than adequate for the sightseeing.
