Overview

Chamber music concert performed by the "Mozart Ensemble"- Piano Trio. As a piano trio, the Mozart Ensemble plays the most famous works written by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin and many other famous composers. Piano works, solo pieces for violin and cello combined with great piano trios, are performed in a virtuoso manner.

A special highlight of our new concert series is the finale with Haydn’s piano trio “Rondo all’ Ongarese” and Schubert’s trio op. 100.
We play in the oldest concert hall in Vienna, the "Sala Terrena" where Mozart himself played.

Concert in the house of Mozarts first apartment in Vienna, part of the monastery of the “German Teutonic Order”. Mozart lived and worked here for Archbishop Colloredo in the year 1781.

As a piano trio, the Mozart Ensemble plays the most famous works written by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin and many other famous composers. Piano works, solo pieces for violin and cello combined with great piano trios, are performed in a virtuoso manner.

Amazing musicians in close proximity to the audience in a beautiful room with excellent sound. We all loved it, including our two 16 year old boys!!!

Liked the selection of pieces, and the musicians were excellent. The only downside was that the violinist was backlit.

Best concert evening in Vienna. A small, intimate venue where the musicians bring you into their world of music. Set in a beautiful room, all the musicians are of international standard. This was our 6th concert in Vienna and way ahead of the other larger settings which are filled with bus loads of tourists who seem disinterested after a few pieces. If you come to Vienna this concert is a must. Fantastic and uplifting.

I booked tickets online for category A, the first three rows of the room. The room is so small that you can totally save EUR 10 on category B for row 4/5 (row 6 doesn’t exist, unlike advertised). The show as at 19:30, confirmed via e-mail on the same day. I got to Mozarthaus at 19:20 and it was ghost town, no one was around to greet you ie even indicate that you were in the right place. A guy showed up at 19:35 to greet my party and two other people (who were also confused) with a fold up table to start checking tickets. From reviews to their website, this seemed like a legit attraction with some level of organization - don’t be fooled, it’s literally a couple and three other musicians that rent a room at Mozarthaus to play, no “touristy” infrastructure at all. That being said, the performance started at 20:05. Was it beautiful? Yes. Was it jaw dropping, an experience of a lifetime? Not even close.
