Located 51 kilometers north of the city of Thiruvananthapuram and 37 kilometers south of Kollam in Kerala, the Varkala Beach (also known as the Papanasam Beach) is part of a calm and quiet hamlet that lies on the outskirts of the district of Thiruvananthapuram.
