•   Day 1

  HANOI ARRIVAL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR

  Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. On arrival at Hanoi airport meet La Vacanza representative who will assist you with your comfortable transfer in a private vehicle to your hotel in Hanoi. On arrival, check-in and relax.

  Meet your driver and a private guide to imbark on your half-day city tour visiting Ba Dinh Square with Hochiminh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Hochiminh’s House of Stilt, Temple of Literature (the 1st National University of Vietnam), Sword Lake with Ngoc Son Temple and The Huc Bridge.

  You will continue your tour to visit the Old Quarters (36 ancient wards & streets) and Dong Xuan Market for pictures, shopping, and a sumptuous dinner before you return to your hotel for overnight.

•   Day 2

  HANOI – FULL DAY TOUR

  After a sumptuous breakfast at Hotel meet your friendly driver and professional guide to embark on your full-day tour of Hanoi. You will visit Hoa Lo Prison to learn about the bittersweet history of Vietnam, Vietnam Military History Museum to see the displays both inside and outside of the building, and B52 Victory Museum, dedicated to the history of the Vietnamese revolution, the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War.
  
  Later in the day visit The Temple of Literature, a large peaceful complex dedicated to Confucius. Built-in the 11th century, it was the first university in Vietnam and, still today, students come here to burn incense before important exams. You will find it great for photography, the solemn atmosphere tinged with incense smoke and the sunken lotus ponds populated by fish and turtles.
  
  Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

•   Day 3

  HANOI – HA LONG BAY (OVERNIGHT CRUISE)

  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, later your driver (you may also choose to take a shuttle bus also) will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for the check-in area at Halong International Cruise Port. Our representatives will help you with a smooth check-in.

  Onboard the Cruise, enjoy your lunch while cruising into the primitive Lan Ha Bay. The bay has hundreds of small and large islands, making it an enormous, wonderful scene to look at. Cruise makes a stop at Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island where you will hop on bikes for an active tour along small paved roads towards a village nestled in a valley. Meet local inhabitants doing their daily work, see their homes and the village school.

  Return to your cruise to relax and admire the sunset from the sundeck while your Vietnamese hosts entertain you with various activities followed by a sumptuous dinner on board. Overnight onboard the cruise.

  In case of bad weather conditions, the cruise management board has the authority to cancel all cruises for the safety of tourists. Alternate arrangements are offered in such a scenario.

•   Day 4

  HA LONG BAY – HANOI - FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

  Start your day enjoying the sunrise and scenery before a light breakfast is served in the peaceful beauty of the bay, later visit Dark & Bright Cave for your excursion, a serene round lake encompassed by rich trees and high stone walls. You may choose to explore the cave by yourself in a kayak or comfortably on a local bamboo boat rowed by the locals.

  Return to your cruise, pack your luggage and prepare for check-out of your cabin while cruising towards the port. Enjoy a sumptuous brunch on board before you disembark at Halong International Cruise Port. Our local La Vacanza representative will help you with your comfortable transfer in your private car ( You may choose to take a shuttle bus also) back to Hanoi.

  Transfer straight to Hanoi airport to take your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival at Ho Chi Minh City airport, meet our local representative who will assist you with a comfortable private transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at your hotel.

•   Day 5

  HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS & CITY TOUR

  After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel meet your guide and driver to depart Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi Tunnels. After an introductory video, viewing various mantraps, the remains of an American tank and numerous bomb craters, you will spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels to see how the Viet Cong survived in this underground network.

  Later in the afternoon continue your tour of Ho Chi Minh City to visit Reunification Palace, the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War,  Notre Dame Cathedral, (one of the city’s major landmarks), the Saigon Post Office, a classic French colonial structure and finally Ben Thanh Market – an icon of the city located in the center of District 1.

  Return to your hotel.

•   Day 6

  HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA

  After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, meet your driver and guide to  visit the area referred to locally as ‘the rice bowl of Vietnam’ – My Tho

  Upon arrival, you will board your local boat for a cruise among the aptly named Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix Islands. En-route, visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut and Turtle Island, where a stop will be made in a tropical orchard to taste some exotic fruit.

  After lunch at the local restaurant take a ride on a horse cart along country roads to a famed garden for a honey tasting. Continue on a smaller rowing boat for a more adventurous ride through the Xep Canal which is set amongst a forest of palm trees.

  Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh city, you will visit Vinh Trang pagoda too. Overnight in your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

•   Day 7

  HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE

  After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, the day is free for you to explore Ho Chi Minh City on your own or shopping. Your car and a La Vacanza representative will report at your hotel on time for your pick-up and a comfortable transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
