Also known as Mysore, this city in India in the southwestern Karnataka state is the Kingdom of Mysore’s capital city between 1399 and 1947. In the heart of it is the Mysore Palace that boasts of a mix of architectural styles—Hindu, Gothic, Islamic, and Rajput.

There are plenty of other historical attractions, amazing landmarks, and markets filled with sandalwood, spices, and silk.  

Places to Visit in Mysuru

Suburb of Belagula

Producer of chrome dyes, this is where the magic happens, making Mysuru an important manufacturing and trading center for textiles. It may not always be included in conventional holiday packages, but you can always put in a request.

Center of Mysuru

Chamundi Hill
