Travel Preparation

When going up the Jungfraujoch, check the weather forecast first, as it would not be good to do it if the place is covered in clouds.

  • Make sure you wear multiple thinner layers of clothing so you can easily adjust to the different temperatures you will experience there throughout the day.
  • Also, allow at least 2 hours visit of the Jungfraujoch, and this does not include the time to get there. (Travelling time from the base to the top is approx 1.5 Hours one-way)
  • Depending on your departure time and pace, you can take either a day trip or a half-day trip.
  • As you will be going to a high altitude, you might suffer from slight altitude sickness, so take things slow.
