Due to inclement weather, we had to reschedule our visit and as a result, ended up paying almost double the regular entrance fee just because regular tickets were sold out and the only way to gain admission was to book a tour. I appreciated the speaker/headphone audio setup which allowed you to be able to listen to your particular guide vs hearing other tours. Our guide was informative, but I felt there was too much emphasis on the repeated theme of the holy trinity. I felt slightly rushed and didn't think there was time for follow up questions. I learned more from reading the placards in the museum under the cathedral. Do not skip this part!
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The Julia Travel office feels stressful, but it all worked. The guide was prompt. Had a tough time hearing her at times, but manageable. We got tickets only days before the tour and that was worth the price.
Sarah was amazing and knowledgeable, she kept it interesting. The place was extremely crowded and it wasn’t even peak season. I wouldn’t necessarily do a tour again because everything is there in writing. You can go at your own pace and not worry about keeping up with a group and tour guide. It’s a beautiful place with lots of history and is definitely worth checking out.
Olga was a wonderful guide to Sagrada Familia. She certainly brought her love of the site to the tour, her respect of Gaudi, and so many of the very special aspects of the cathedral. Honestly, Sagrada Familia was on my checklist to as one of the main sites of Barcelone, I had not expected to fall in love with it as I did. Many thanks to Olga
We had Oliver as our tour guide and he was amazing. He was funny, inviting, and you can tell he loves his job. I highly recommend it.
