Temple of Heaven is the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times, which is a place for ancient Ming and Qing dynasties emperors pray for good harvest. Now, it is also a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Tai chi practice exercise.

Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. You will spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace.
For around 500 years , it served as the home of emperors and their households from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government.
Tour route: Forbidden City is divided into two parts.
The southern section, or the Outer Court was where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation.
The northern section, or the Inner Court was where he lived with his royal family.

Hutong is a Mongolian word meaning water well. At nine meters (about 30 feet) wide, it is the name given to a lane or small street that originated during the Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368). Walk around old Beijing hutong nearby Shichahai Lake. Now they have become representatives of local culture, thus it is still the first choice for people who would like to learn about the local history and culture.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall & Summer Palace
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Mutianyu Great Wall is a one of the most famous and popular sections of China Great Wall.
You will have your own choice of taking the cable car or chair lift up to the breathtaking wall, spend 1 to 2 hours leisurely hiking up and down the various sections to explore the Watch Towers, admire at the construction of marveling beauty of the renown and legendary Wall.
After hiking, You will have option of an exhilarating toboggan ride back down or just simply return the way you came.
