Overview

We will collect you from your hotel around sunrise (it really is the best time of the day)  and take you to our office in Goreme. Our pilots check the weather conditions and decide on the best launch site for the preferred flight path. Once at the launch site there will be a full safety briefing and you will have first hand experience of the balloon inflation. The crew will help you into the basket and when everyone is happy and comfortable, the moment you have dreamt of...up, up and away! Below you, a unique landscape, a combination of natural beauty and a deep and complex history. Before we return to your hotel, we celebrate our flights with champagne and passengers each receive a personalized commemorative flight certificate and medal with our sincere thanks for sharing the best part of our day.

As we can not start to fly without having their(The Civil Aviation Authority) daily permission we can't guarantee to take off before sunrise.

  • As we can't start to fly without daily permission of Turkish Civil Aviation Authorities we can't gurantee to show sunrise
  • In case of a cancellation due to the poor weather conditions you will receive a full refund.

Pilot Mehmet AK was an entertaining and proficient pilot that flew us over the beautiful Cappadocia valleys. Butterfly Balloon uses 16 person baskets and the majority of the others are 28 or 32 person. More intimate in our opinion. What more can I say? Run don’t walk to reserve a flight. Prices are very reasonable and don’t be afraid to take the half hour later flight. A bit cheaper and every bit as good. One small wish we would have liked would have been a short moment of complete silence while aloft. To enjoy the intimate experience.

What an amazing experience! We had the best time on our 1hr flight with Mehmet, who has incredibly professional, helpful and a great guide during the flight! The tour concluded with a champagne celebration, everyone receiving a medal and a flight certificate! The entire flight felt very safe, organised and professional! Highly recommend!
