Stop At: The Pearl Island, Doha 7256 Qatar
The name "The Pearl" was chosen because the island is being built on one of Qatar's previous major pearl diving sites. Qatar was one of the major pearl traders of Asia before the Japanese introduced cheaper more affordable pearls just before Qatar's oil boom. The Pearl-Qatar helps to represent Qatar's rich past in the pearl industry. The Pearl is said to resemble a string of pearls.
A Riviera style man-made island developed in an exclusive enclave of Doha. It is the Middle East's most glamorous address, covering 400 hectares of reclaimed land and Qatar's first international urban development venture.

Lusail is a planned city in Qatar, located on the coast, in the southern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail is located about 23 kilometres north of the city centre of Doha, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over 38 square kilometres and will eventually have the infrastructure to accommodate 450,000 people. Of these 450,000 people, it is estimated that 250,000 or fewer will be residents, 190,000 will be office workers and 60,000 will be retail workers
