Serra's public art has always been driven by a desire to take sculpture off the pedestal and on to the street – which perfectly aligns with our philosophy at Qatar Museums.

To him, the content of the work derives from interaction with the viewer, meaning he always has pedestrians in mind. He acknowledges that he can't predetermine what people will make of it.

    Zeno oversaw our amazing trip to the West Coast, giving great information to each of sites as we approached and gave us first hand opportunities to view and interact with both the environment and the animals they housed. He kept us involved with the trip by talking about the culture and shared some laughs on our journey. I had a great time and would love to enjoy another trip again.

    Our tour guide, Zeno, was amazing! He was funny and really cared about our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. He had lots of great knowledge about Doha, the mountains, and the Richard Serra structure. Definitely would do it again!

    Very interesting tour with Zeno. Who was knowledgeable and made a few side stops to show us orynx and other animals. The best part was the sunset at Richard Serra East West. Worth the trip!

    I wanted to see this sculpture installation. But thanks to Zenu/Zinu I saw so much more. Desert formations, the Persian Gulf, camels, oryxes, fresh figs from the trees. It was a wonderful and memorable trip with a generous and safe guide for a solo traveller.
