Stop At: Jannat Desert Safari Camp, Al Belaida - Sharjah - United Arab Emirates

This tour departs in the afternoon across the desert of Dubai with several photo-stops during an exciting dune drive to the first destination a camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. We stop to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching our campsite where you have the opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet. After working up an appetite enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe). Before returning to Dubai/Sharjah watch our belly dancer performing her show around the campfire by starlight.

La soirée était agréable. Le coucher du soleil était là, ainsi que toutes les attractions indiquées (danse du ventre, cracheur de feu et diner barbecue), mais il s'agit de campements pour touristes où il y a ENORMEMENT de monde (plusieurs centaines de personnes) et on se sent assez "perdu". C'est très artificiel (sauf le désert). La montée sur la chameau dure 2 mn, et la promenade en 4x4 est super mais très rapide aussi. Cela pourrait beaucoup mieux avec beaucoup moins de monde (tous les voyagistes arrivent dans ces campements qui sont trop grands). On craignait de ne pas retrouver notre voyagiste à la fin de la soirée (on était en souci) mais finalement, il était là, nous a retrouvé sans problème. Lui, il était au top (alors qu'on n'avait ni "étiquette", ni numéro de téléphone... mais il était bien là). Donc soirée intéressante mais pas extraordinaire non plus du fait de cette "cohue" incroyable et d'un aspect très "campement à touristes".

Nous avons pris cette sortie dans le désert en famille. Nous avons été accompagné par un super guide “Syed Ahmed” qui a fait de notre sortie une réussite. Il a été à notre écoute et a été de très bon conseil. Je le remercie infiniment, parce que grâce à lui toute la famille a été comblée. En ce qui concerne l’activité, nous avons tout adoré: la 4X4 dans le désert très bien maîtrisé par notre guide Ahmed, la balade à dos de chameau, le camp, la soirée avec spectacle, le dîner, l’accueil chaleureux des personnes sur place... Je recommande fortement cette activité :)
