This day trip is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of FLORENCE.

What Can You Expect?

Once you have been greeted by your English speaking driver, you will leave your hotel in Rome and head over to Florence.

The tour starts from the central and famous market of St Lorenzo, characterised by its workshops and multicoloured stalls, where the Medici Chapels and Basilica di San Lorenzo , the church of Medici’s family, are located. You will stop at the breathtaking Uffizi Gallery first and, in the afternoon, you will also visit the Accademia Gallery, including Michelangelo’s famous sculpture of David. The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Rome and take you back at the end of the day.

Upgrade to add a 3 hour guided tour to take the most out of your daytrip in Florence as it is a beautiful city! Since you will be assigned a private guide for your tour in Florence, you can decide how you prefer to navigate the city with him/she.

We had Michele as our driver for two separate private drives. Michele was incredible. Always early, so kind, and very knowledgeable of the areas we were travelling, we could not recommend someone better!

We had a great experience with Danilo S. with a trip from Rome to Florence with a brief stop in Assisi. Danilo was AWESOME! He was professional and punctual and very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend using him for any driving needs in that part of Italy! Thank you Danilo!

We used a wonderful service called Daytrip which we booked to go from Rome to Florence and then from Florence to Rome a few days later. We paid a small fee for an upgrade to a luxury car. This is a wonderful service because it cuts out the stress of having to get to an airport or a train station. Perfect door to door service. The best part? We had a wonderful driver who took us both ways and we paid for extra stops each way to see other little towns which you would otherwise miss. Our driver Marco was AMAZING. His Mercedes Benz was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Marco was always early and waiting for us, he drove carefully and safely and he was so friendly that we could not have asked for more. He pointed out interesting things along the way and told us about food and flora along the way and in Rome. We will definitely use his services again and recommend him to everyone. Our experience with Rome in Limo was OUTSTANDING! We used them for several transfers, two of which were long trips with stops, (Rome to Florence and Florence to Civitavecchia), as well as a day tour of the Chianti region. Jany was incredible in coordinating everything, even as we made many changes throughout our planning process. Every driver was excellent, on time (early) and every car or van was impeccable. I would highly recommend the services of Rome in Limo.

We had a lovely trip to Florence with Peter as our host and driver and Yurica as our host and guide. This is our second vacation with Rome In Limo, and we really couldn't ask for more. Peter picked us up at our apartment in Rome and drove us to Florence, pointing out interesting things along the way. When we got to Florence, we met Yurica, our guide for the day. She is just fabulous! She did a great job in Accadamia, and gave us a real appreciation for the stunning art housed there. She also toured us around Florence. She is so knowledgeable and shares her love of Florence well. We had a wonderful day and can't say enough good things about Peter and Yurica! Thank you for a wonderful tour.
