Our local guide, fluent in English and an expert in Turkish culture, meets you at the port. The journey to immerse in a day of Turkish life begins here.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Okuz Mehmet Pasa KervansarayI, Ataturk BulvarI 2, Kusadasi Turkiye

The Kusadasi Kervansaray, also known as Öküz Mehmed Pasha Caravanserai, is a beautifully preserved example of Ottoman architecture in the heart of Kusadasi, a popular coastal town in Turkey's Aydin province. Constructed in the early 17th century by the Ottoman governor (or vizier) Öküz Mehmed Pasha, it served as a secure resting place for merchants and travelers along the caravan routes, hence the name "caravanserai".

Today, step into this fortress-like structure and transport yourself back to a time when Kusadasi was a bustling port of trade. The Kusadasi Kervansaray's sturdy walls and distinctive Ottoman design make it a standout historical attraction. The structure is built around a large central courtyard, a typical feature of caravanserais, where goods would have been traded and stories from the road shared.

In just 10 minutes, you can admire the caravanserai's stonework and architectural details, glimpse the inner courtyard, and feel the historical ambiance of the place.

Duration: 10 minutes

In the short span of 1 hour, you will be captivated by the life, color, and charm of the Old Town Bazaar. The air is filled with the scents of exotic spices, fresh produce, and the aroma of Turkish tea and coffee. The vibrant stalls brim with a variety of goods - from traditional Turkish rugs, ceramics, and handmade jewelry to leather goods, textiles, and an array of souvenirs. Remember, bargaining is part of the experience in Turkish bazaars, so if you decide to make a purchase, don't be shy to negotiate! Enjoy this quick, vibrant glimpse into Turkish culture before we proceed to our next stop.

We were group of 15 people enjoyed ephesus tour which was great experience. Our guide, Necdet, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly met us at our ship and took us to all of the amazing sites in Ephesus. Necdet made this tour a truly treat experience and we would recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Ephesus His passion for history allows us to understand a complete view of all the things happening in the ancient world and how that relates to what we see within the sites that we are visiting. He was also always very good about finding us local cuisine that was on the healthier side with more veggies while being some of the most delicious, yet least expensive meals we've had in Turkey. Highly recommended If I came back to visit Turkey, I would certainly request him again as he is a 5 star+!!
