Excellent cruise along the river with informative and humorous information from the skipper who managed to do all this while skilfully navigating the river. Seats were comfortable and great views along the river.

Literally felt like you were sat on the boat with very little to look at. You can walk it & see far more.

Many thanks to Sophia and Dan for making our Cruise on the Ouse a very pleasant one. Information was just enough giving us plenty of time to take in the scenery. The friendly team on the launch were very helpful. Overall very good value with good weather to boot.

Lovely cruise, very relaxing, onboard bar, tour guide very good. Not sure what we were expecting from the cruise, more sights of york i guess but still very good. Our original cruise was cancelled due to the river flooding but was super easy to reschedule. Just a note that if the river has flooded that the riverside get very muddy & slippy.

Perfect excursion for a family group, ranging in age from a baby and toddler, to parents and grandparents. We boarded the boat with a large double pushchair. The staff boarding the passengers were so helpful and welcoming, the pushchair not an issue at all. The 45 minute cruise took us up and down the Ouse, with the captain providing a live informative commentary on the passing scenery and buildings. I had ordered 4 glasses of prosecco in advance and there was a good choice of drinks and snacks on board, served by a lovely helpful girl. I would say the duration of the cruise was the right timing for small children. Our toddler grandson really enjoyed the boat experience. We did this trip on Good Friday, and it was lively without being rammed with people, which can be the case on ank Holidays. It was also good value for money on a day when some attractions hike their prices. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done, City Cruises.
