Located between Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, you will then visit the Pointe du Hoc, one of the must-see spots on the Normandy landing beaches. Composed of a cliff of 25 to 30 meters high, la Pointe du Hoc, was one of the most difficult battles of the D-Day. Of the 225 Rangers, only 90 were still able to pursue liberation.

Leaving Omaha Beach behind, “The Normandy American Cemetery” unites graves of 9,387 fallen soldiers, the chapel, the memorial and the garden of the disappeared. This cemetery honors American soldiers who died during the Battle of Normandy during the Second World War and is one of the 25 permanent US burial sites on foreign soil.
