Overview

While the hugely popular 'Game of Thrones' TV series, adapted from George Martin’s 'A Song of Ice and Fire' novels, is filmed all over Europe, many of the key locations are based in Northern Ireland. During this 9-hour trip you will be travelling with your maester guide who is an expert on Game of Thrones visiting seven iconic sites from seasons one through to six, including Dragonstone, Dunluce Castle and the Giants Causeway. Your guide who is a fan of both the books and TV series as well as having appeared in the show will discuss information from the Game of Thrones series, recalling incredible tales of legend and local history that could come right out of the books.

The whole trip was great and lived up to our expectations. The causeway was breathtaking. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this tour based on our experience.

Stuart was our guide and did a fabulous job giving us both the history of Ireland as well as Game of Thrones. The coastline was beautiful and it was fun to walk through the Dark Hedge and down to the Giant Causeway. Would definitely recommend.

Our guide Stuart was great! Long day, but made enjoyable by the frequent stops so we were not on the bus too long for any given amount of time (until going back to the city after the causeway - which was over an hour away). It is a bit of a hike to each of the main sights, so plan on wearing walking shoes. Causeway was quite a hike down and back, so the shuttle may be worth it coming back up. Bring cash for the shuttle!
