Bateaux Parisian cancelled trip due to technical difficulties. Only found out when we arrived . Still trying to get refund of €467 . Disaster as this was our last night and my daughters birthday

My rating would have been five star except for one thing that kept this from being the elegant evening we'd expected - the music was WAY too loud. I don't know why venues providing meal service think the music has to be blasting - instead of playing very low as background. And the music selections/vocalist were good -- just too loud. We four had chosen the premier service and everything about it was excellent: our own table in the bow of the boat, excellent wait staff and food, including champagne and wine throughout dinner. But talking was difficult because of the volume of the music and in addition, at the table for 4 right next to ours there was a young woman who apparently didn't know how to converse at a normal level so we had to listen to her conversation all evening (and she wasn't just talking over the music, but all the time). Her 3 dinner companions spoke in normal tones so we didn't hear them at all. All this 'noise' really took a bite out of our evening. That being said, however, all other details from arriving at the dock, to checking in, being seated and served were terrific. The views of the sights during the two hour sail were truly beautiful and though it did pour down rain a couple of times, that didn't destroy the views (just the photo taking!).

Food and ambiance. Professional staff. I was disappointed that the many monuments were not lit. I think that should be disclosed.

The views were amazing as was the food. We opted for the Premier and were not disappointed as we had a great location at the front of the boat. Highly recommend it!
