Very disappointing trip as it was cancelled at short notice. We arrived at 9 a.m and we’re still queuing in the pouring rain at 10.30 having been told by the Eiffel Tower staff via our guide that the Tower would not open until at least 11.30. We were then offered the option of a refund which we took.
We had the best guide ever. He was so informative about the tower and history. Unfortunately I was unable to go to the something due to a knee injury. They need to let buyers know if you have any mo ility issues they will not allow something. So don't pay. Just go to 2nd floor. It still was very beautiful. 1 st trip cancelled due to strike but this one got us in earlier. Recommend for all.
A very informative tour, Melanie was really knowledgeable about the tower and Paris and helpful for the onward journey
We searched La Vacanza Travel for a skip-the-line Eiffel Tower guided tour, and this was the first tour that came up in the search results. But when we arrived for the tour, the tour guide directed us to stand in exactly the same line that any individual without tickets stands in. We waited in this line for approximately 1.5 hours while the tour guide told us jokes. When we finally got to the end of the line, the tour guide purchased our tickets for us. The tour guide then told us that the “tour” was over, handed us our tickets, and left us to go to the top of the tower by ourselves. I was therefore left wondering what I paid La Vacanza Travel for. We didn’t skip any lines, and there was no tour. As far as I can tell, we received no service from La Vacanza Travel, whatsoever. I could have easily waited in the non-ticketholder line and purchased the tickets myself.
