Join our French cooking class in the heart of Paris.

Do you know that Macaron dates from XVI century?

We will start from "la mise en place" then we will travel together over centuries to discover everything about those marvelous shells.

Do you know the difference between a Macaron & biscuit?

Come and join us, on this unique French baking class which it will be a hand-on activity for making Macaron & Ganache as a filling.

This French cooking class it is ideal for private booking such as family/friends gathering as well as anniversaries, corporate groups and private events.

What Can You Expect?

In one hours and a half, you will learn in-depth about the making of The Macarons:

STARTING

we will start with a little introduction… where do you think macarons comes from??

FILLING

we will do a ganache (chocolat) filling, and learn the tricky part of this delicious filling

SHELLS

the most important part!... we will use the Italian meringue method, make the piping and show you how to do to well success them

MACARONS

we will paire the shells with the ganache filling and/or a home made jam.

We'll bake with a small group, and have coffee or tea as we enjoy them!

Gaby was wonderful! A nice small group of 4. The cooking area was so cute. Gaby was through in explaining step by step and ensuring we got to practice technique. The macaroons came out perfect and were very good. We did with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling. I enjoyed the class and can’t wait to try the take home recipe.

This was a time well spent with a wonderful and knowledgeable host. The children had a great time preparing macarons that they enjoyed eating for the rest of the day. Highly recommended activity.

Edwardo was a wonder teacher! He made my class easy, fun, and we made delicious macaroons. He is an outstanding young man and teacher. I highly recommend this class!

We had a blast and the macaron baking session was very informative. We thought we were meeting an actual Parisian chef - but as it turns out - we didn’t. But it was still fun.

This was a fun activity for our kids and the chef/teacher Ellen was very nice to all of us. It's in an ordinary apartment (ours near the Place des Vosges, but there are several flats), a walk up in an apartment building. Rather than set up as a chef school with every participant doing their own macaroons or dish, the group makes macaroons together as one. Really the chef makes it and calls on various people to help stir or pour or do the fillings. The good news is that the macaroons will turn out fine because the chef makes sure! It was fun and we recommend, but it's more like cooking with an expert friend than a culinary school experience.
